I’m an unabashed geek in every sense of the term. I’m a huge fan of puns and obscure references (aka nerd-speak). The first computer in my home was a Commodore 64, though I was programming on TRS-80s in school in elementary school.
I served in the Navy for 6 years as a reactor operator on a submarine, so I know a bit about electronics and nuclear propulsion & power generation. After that, I went to college and received degrees in Philosophy and Religious Studies, with a minor in Political Science. So, instead of knowing a lot about a little, I know a little about a lot. I’m your second edition AD&D Bard. Jack-of-all-trades, master of none.
I’m also pretty sarcastic. People call me overly cynical and bitter, but I consider it being realistic. Hey, if someone is really into me and I warn her that down the road I’ll eventually do something to piss her off or disappoint her, is it my fault when it happens and she didn’t believe me at the time? It’s not like I aim to disappoint, but we’re all flawed. I just choose to recognize that. I also try to be honest even when it’s clear someone wants to be lied to. Needless to say, I’m not married.
